Adnane Raiss is an independent consultant in international development, specialized in peacebuilding, conflict transformation, civil society strengthening, economic empowerment, and preventing violent extremism. He has worked with a wide range of international organizations, government agencies, foundations, and civil society in over 25 countries.  Adnane holds a BA in business and management and a Masters of Arts in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from the American University. He has lived in four continents and is fluent in Arabic, English and French. Besides his consulting work, Adnane has a passion for permaculture, eco-construction, sustainable tourism, holistic health, cooking and nutrition. Adnane has led several Sufi retreats in Morocco and the USA.
